Kevin MacDonald | The war on Whites is getting increasingly obvious, to the point that a very mainstream source, Congressman Mo Brooks, stated it and then refused to back down. This war is being carried on with a number of very potent weapons.

At TOO we have stressed the moral onslaught which has inculcated guilt among legions of Whites for actions that have occurred among all peoples (e.g., slavery, segregation) while ignoring morally motivated phenomena that are unique to the West (e.g., the moral crusade that abolished slavery, the Civil Rights movement).

But another main weapon is that displacing Whites often has financial rewards. The triumphant multicultural left has created a context in which many Whites benefit financially from the process of White displacement. Obviously, financial incentives are quite powerful in a capitalist economy where most people measure their self-worth by their bank account.

Whites who cooperate in their own displacement are handsomely rewarded. White businessmen benefit from immigration because it lowers labor costs — a recurrent theme at VDARE.com. Companies like First Data Corporation directly benefit from immigration by taking a cut of remittances sent by immigrants to relatives in other countries.

Another example is the refugee/resettlement program in which money is funneled from the U.S. government to private non-profits, mostly religious groups (Lutherans: “The children are a gift” and we need a second lobbyist in Washington to make sure the gift keeps giving):

[A] GAO report quotes a state official who notes “that local affiliate funding is based on the number of refugees they serve, so affiliates (private contractors) have an incentive to maintain or increase the number of refugees they resettle each year rather than allowing the number to decrease.” …

Refugee resettlement is a self-perpetuating global enterprise. Staff and management of the hundreds of taxpayer supported U.S. contractors are largely refugees or immigrants whose purpose is to gain entry for more refugees, usually for their co-ethnics.

[As an evolutionist, I am shocked that much of the motivation for displacing those evil, racist Whites comes from people favoring their own group.] …

According to David Robinson, a former acting director of the State Department’s refugee bureau, writing about the refugee contractors: “the federal government provides about ninety percent of its collective budget” and its lobbying umbrella “wields enormous influence over the Administration’s refugee admissions policy. It lobbies the Hill effectively to increase the number of refugees admitted for permanent resettlement each year ….If there is a conflict of interest, it is never mentioned…. The solution its members offer to every refugee crisis is simplistic and the same: increase the number of admissions to the United States without regard to budgets…” (see here)

In the university White professors who want to move into lucrative positions in administration must be warriors on behalf of non-Whites. A noteworthy example is Mary Sue Coleman, who earns north of $900,000/year as the president of the University of Michigan and has been a leader in attempting to preserve racial preferences and in promoting the educational benefits of diversity.

But her views are entirely typical in the academic world, and her salary only puts her in 6th place for salaries at public universities as of 2012. It’s inconceivable that one could get a position like this without cooperating enthusiastically with the displacement of White America, favoring affirmative action and cooperating in funding and staffing the infrastructure of the academic left (e.g., ethnic studies departments, gender studies, etc.). The massive social approval University of Michigan president Mary Sue Coleman receives within the culture of the university for her positions on diversity issues is doubtless a positive component of her job.

At a lower level on the academic food chain, one of the most important criteria for professors is whether they can obtain government grants which then pay them extra salary and pay the university for the costs of administering the grant — a major source of funding for the university. Right now there is a lot of money in grants aimed at improving the educational prospects of non-Whites and no shortage of White professors eager to get their hands on that money.

Another lucrative area is forming companies that essentially provide insurance policies for companies concerned about being charged with being “too White” or too insensitive to non-Whites. A lot of this is on display at the White Privilege Conference where firms compete to show that they are on the cutting edge of the guilt-inducing industry. There is clearly a vast anti-White infrastructure centered in the universities (college course credit is available for registrants of the White Privilege Conference) and spilling over into private enterprise. It is devoted to displays of White guilt that are quite profitable. For example, one firm advertises itself by claiming “We will provide the most cutting edge pedagogical tools, training materials, application models and conceptual frameworks drawn from the most current trends in the professional areas in which we work.” Having one leg up on the competition means devising ever more outlandish remedies for the evil of Whiteness. One member of the group, is “trained in Craniosacral Therapy and Global Somatics body work and co-facilitates with Dr. Hackman the ‘More Than Skin Deep: Challenging White Supremacy One Cell At A Time’ workshops examining whiteness, trauma and healing in the service of ending racism.”

A recent article posted at AmRen, Robert Bloch has provided us with an insider’s look at the incentivization process for White displacement at large U.S. companies (“Making Money on White Displacement“).

• The diversity entrepreneur, Jim Malackowski, determined to make money on the increased value of minority-owned companies due to their getting preferences in government contracts.
• The non-White for whom doors magically open, resulting in a quick rise to big salaries. Fatemeh Hall is “a fashionable, attractive, and articulate Muslim woman … recently arrived from Iran, and she had a matchless zeal for uplifting African-Americans in particular.” Amazing how quickly non-Whites figure out the rules of the game. Immigrate to evil, racist America and immediately get on the anti-White gravy train.
• High-level White executives who are entirely complicit. Bloch describes “minority business conferences graced with high-profile speakers and earnest, usually white, and surprisingly senior corporate executives. … Relentless, ruthless intelligence has gone into minority supplier programs. They are supported at the board level, and thus have significant input from white men. … GM’s Chief Diversity Officer is a white man and a retired Navy Captain, Kenneth J. Barrett. Mr. Barrett was the Navy’s Chief Diversity Officer, and if there are medals for discriminating against whites he presumably wears them proudly. … The executives who spoke at Fatemeh’s conferences–top-level white guys, rather than black diversity officers–emphasized that they thought diversity was a desirable end in itself and they were eager to do more than the government required. I came to believe them.”

Bloch notes that there are market limits on this process — he was unable to get private sector cooperation in a scheme that would have given non-White businesses money upfront on the assumption of an assured revenue stream. However, it’s mainly government that funds White displacementf, so market restraints are not critical to the success of White displacement.

As Frank Salter has pointed out, Whites who fail to attend to the interests of their wider kinship group benefit themselves and their families at the expense of their own ethnic interests. This is especially true for elite Whites—people whose intelligence, power, and wealth could make a very large difference in culture and politics. They are in effect sacrificing millions of ethnic kin for the benefit of themselves and their immediate family.

This is a disastrously wrongheaded choice by all the standard measures of evolutionary success. However, because our evolved psychology is much more attuned to individual and family interests than to the interests of the ethnic group or race, Whites who benefit economically or professionally from adopting conventional views on race and ethnicity are unlikely to feel unease at the psychological level. (This is especially true of Europeans because we are prone to individualism as a result of our evolutionary history.) Indeed, such people are often praised to the skies for having such enlightened views on race that they actively cooperate against their ethnic interests. They go to bed at night quite at peace with themselves.

It’s the same logic with the many non-Jews who are involved with neoconservatism. Being a foot soldier on behalf of Israel is a great career move for media figures, not to mention politicians, and government workers who can expect a soft landing in neocon think tanks and pro-Israel advocacy organizations if the political winds change. The most recent examples are the Republican groveling before Sheldon Adelson and the Republican Jewish Coalition in Las Vegas and Hillary Clinton’s interview with Jeffrey Goldberg where she criticized the Obama administration’s Middle East policies and generally said everything that a neocon could hope for (see (Ed Maloney, “Hillary Clinton’s 11th-hour Diplomacy“).

We have to face the fact that idealistic motives don’t work with most people, or at least they can be easily trumped by more tangible rewards. Whites who are financially benefiting from the displacement of their people are not psychologically open to arguments about the dire consequences to America and to people like themselves if things continue like this for another generation or two. They are primed to believe the mantras about diversity as strength and easily persuaded that pessimism about the future is just another manifestation of White racism.

They are not only financially rewarded, they also reap psychological rewards that come raining down from the elite media and from their many complicit friends and colleagues. For so many Whites, the pro-diversity, anti-White policies are seen as morally praiseworthy, thus tapping into a very potent source of motivation for Whites (see above link). They can do well by doing good.

This is a tough combination to go up against. We have to hope that racially conscious Whites will eventually create an infrastructure that begins to match the multicultural, anti-White infrastructure that is already in place. The money is certainly there and the situation on the ground can only convince more and more Whites that Rep. Mo Brooks is right — that there is indeed a war against them.

by Tony Lee | Companies that have recently laid off workers are scheming to get President Barack Obama to give them more guest-worker visas by executive action.

After the New York Times reported that Obama is working on crafting executive actions behind closed doors after having met with representatives from “Oracle, Cisco, Fwd.US, Microsoft, Accenture, Compete America, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce,” which Politico detailed, Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) blasted the White House for “actively working against the interests of the American worker.”

Sessions mentioned that American politics is at “a crisis point,” as companies that “are laying off current employees in droves,” are meeting with “senior White House officials” to get guest-workers that will make it tougher for Americans of all backgrounds to find jobs.

“We have communities throughout America that are barely scraping by. Tens of millions of Americans are on welfare, unemployment, and public assistance,” Sessions said in a Monday statement. “Yet the White House and their Senate Majority seem more concerned about the economic demands of large corporations, or the citizens of other countries, than about getting our own citizens back to work into stable jobs that can support a family and uplift a community.”

Obama is reportedly considering granting temporary amnesty and work permits to millions of illegal immigrants for them to work in any sector. In addition, he may grant more guest-worker visas to high-tech firms–even though there is a surplus of American high-tech workers–and low-skilled industries, even though Americans at the bottom rungs of the economic ladder are having trouble finding jobs, which Americans supposedly will not do.

A recent Center for Immigration Studies report found that in “all 472 civilian detailed occupations as defined by the Department of Commerce,” there were only six “majority immigrant (legal and illegal)” occupations, which means Americans were employed in the low-skilled jobs that pro-amnesty advocates say they will not do.

Sessions, citing a recent U.S. Conference of Mayors study, noted that “construction workers hit by the recession have seen their wages fall by 23 percent” and there are “seven unemployed workers for every one job opening” in the industry.

In the high-tech sector, companies that are laying off American workers are pushing Obama to allow them to import more foreign workers. Cisco, which slashed 6,000 jobs after pushing for the Senate’s amnesty bill last year, had a representative at the White House. So did Microsoft, which “announced it would lay off 18,000 American workers a week after its former CEO Bill Gates called for an unlimited number of certain guest-worker visas in a New York Times op-ed.”

Oracle, which was recently sued by a manager who alleged that “he was fired for complaining when he was told to offer an Indian worker he sought to transfer to California substantially lower pay than white workers in the same position,” also had a seat at the White House table.

Sessions noted that “same group of CEOs who helped write the Senate’s Gang of Eight immigration bill in secret is now scheming with the White House to extract by executive fiat what was denied to them by the American people and Congress.”

He also called Senate Democrats out on their complicity, saying that “instead of defending Congress and their constituents,” they “are handing their vote over to Leader Reid and President Obama.”

“Not one single Senate Democrat has publicly stood up to their Democrat leaders and demanded a vote on the House bill to block this executive amnesty,” Sessions said. “As a result, they are as complicit as if they sat in the room with these executives themselves.”

Mexico’s foreign ministry late Friday protested Texas Governor Rick Perry’s deployment of National Guard troops to the southern US border to halt the surge of child migrants.

Mexico “reiterates, in a firm and categorical way, its rejection of this measure,” read a statement from the foreign ministry. Mexico believes it can interfere in the affairs of the US.

“No circumstance at all or change in border security exists that justifies this measure taken by the state.”

The troop deployment “does not contribute in any way to solving the immigration problem,” and is inconsistent with US-Mexico talks aimed at “building a modern, prosperous and safe border,” the statement read.

Remember Rep. Tom McClintock’s 2012 response to President Calderon:

On Thursday Perry deployed some 1,000 National Guard troops to the border with Mexico.

National Guard troops are soldiers under the authority of the state governor. They cannot detain undocumented migrants, which is a federal responsibility, but they can take over some duties that allows more US Border Patrol agents to monitor the borderline.

Perry, a Republican and a likely candidate for the 2016 presidential race, has taken a hard line against immigrant children seeking to enter the United States from Central America.

At least 57,000 unaccompanied children, most from Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador, have crossed the border into the United States illegally since October, triggering a migration crisis that has sent US border and immigration authorities into a frenzy.

Perry said the decision to deploy troops was taken after repeated requests to the federal government to secure the US border.

Guest Post by Robert Litoff | Regarding the claim that the native Americans were the victims of genocide, I wish to provide the following information.

The native Americans who lived in what is now the contiguous 48 states had a very low population density to begin with, not like in what is now Latin America where there were the Aztecs, Incas etc. and where most of the present population are still in largely of native American ancestry (except for Argentina, Costa Rica and Brazil.)

While many native Americans died of disease brought from Europe, this was not done intentionally. There was a sincere attempt to bring the native American peoples into European culture and Christianity. The Wampanoags who were the native Americans who went to the 1st Thanksgiving began to re-learn their language in 1993 after 150 years of not being able to speak it. The language had not been lost because there were still Bibles and other documents written in their language.

Col. (later Gen.) Ely Samuel Parker (pictured at left) who wrote the document of surrender which Gen. Robert E. Lee signed at Appomattox was a full-blooded Seneca. However, he married a white woman. Charles Brent Curtis who was vice president of the U.S.A. from 1929 to 1933 was a member of the Kansa (Kaw) Indian Nation. He came close to becoming president; he was Pres. Hoover’s principle opponent for the nomination for the presidency before the Republican Party selected Pres. Hoover. as their candidate for president. V. Pres. Curtis was mostly of white ancestry, but his mother from whom he got his Amerindian ancestry taught him the Kansa language from birth, so he was fluent in the Kansa language. And, he lived on a reservation for a few years after his mother passed away. But, both his Indian and his white grandparents decided that it would be better for him to be raised as a white man than as an Indian. So, from then on, he was raised by his white grandparents.

Now, we can almost always know who is a Mexican-American just by looking. If Mexican-Americans were white like the Spaniards, why would this be so? And, just as the gene pools of the populations of the peoples who consider themselves to be native Americans have been affected by intermarriage with whites, the native American population must have been reduced by Amerindians who marrieds whites and whose descendents were assimilated in the white population or who married blacks and whose descendents were assimilated into to tho black population. I suppose that our native peoples will continue to intermarry with non-native people and there will be fewer and fewer pure blooded native peoples and fewer and fewer native people here who can be readily recognized as native peoples.

Even the Jews with their strong taboo against intermarriage are having difficulty preventing intermarriage with non-Jews in America without the shtetls and ghettos in which they lived in Europe. And, I do not think that our native peoples have a taboo against intermarriage with others as do the Jews. So, I suspect that, perhaps, the people who are called white, Hispanic, Mexicans are more Amerindian than the people we call American-Indians. I really think that for the most part Mexico is composed of native peoples with a Spanish veneer. Despite efforts of previous Mexican governments to replace native languages with Spanish, languages such as Nahuatl, the language of the Aztecs, is still spoken and is now being taught to Mexico City employees and at some of Mexico’s universities and Yale Univ.

The main reason why the U.S.A and Mexico developed so differently was due to the density of their native populations. The natives of Mexico already had cities and a much higher population density than the native peoples of what is now the U.S.A. So, Cortez could conquer Mexico, but the native peoples could not be displaced there. And, Cortez could not have been successful in his victory over the Aztecs had it not been for the fact that many of the native peoples joined his side and saw the arrival of the Spaniards as their big chance to overthrow the Aztecs. President Jefferson might have been a cultural white supremacist, but he was not a racist white supremacist regarding the native peoples, He thought that they could be Anglicized and then assimilated into the Anglo-American society.

The story of Pocahantas was true, except, possibly for the part about Pocahantas saving John Smith by throwing herself over John Smith. But, this story was also good propaganda for those who agreed with President Jefferson because it is the story of a native woman who becomes a Christian and adopts the English way so well that she become a noble woman in the English royal court. The idea of having schools to teach our native peoples how to become like Europeans-Americans was really done, not to harm them, but to save them. Even the now Ivy League Dartmouth College began as an school for native peoples. The truth is that, if one culture comes into contact with a culture which is stronger, the first culture must adapt in order to survive. When Japan came into contact with the western peoples, their leadership decided that they must westernize if they did not want to become a colony of a European nation nor dominated by a European nation. So, the Japanese westernized, adopted western dress and got rid of the shogunate and samurai. And, developed a highly disciplined western style military so well that they defeated the Russian army and sunk the Russian fleet in the Russo-Japanese War—one of the greatest military upsets in history.

During the 45 year reign of Emperor Mutsuhito, Japan accomplished in 45 years what it took Europe to accomplish to 4 centuries. The loss of land and the decrease in the number of languages spoken is not unique to native Americans. What is now Portugal, Spain, France and England were all Celtic lands. And, in Scotland, Wales and Ireland, English has replaced their native languages as the language which is commonly used. If you really concerned about our native peoples, I think that you should be concerned about the out-of-wedlock birth rate which has been caused by our welfare system which pays poor people not to get married. The out-of-wedlock birthrate for black Americans is now about 70%. But, the out-of-wedlock birthrate for black Americans in 1900 was 10%, about half the present out-of-wedlock birthrate for white Americans. The out-of-wedlock birthrate for native Americans is now 64%. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find a historical record for the out-of-wedlock birthrates for our native peoples, but my guess has to be that there has probably been a great increase in the out-of-wedlock birthrate for our native peoples like there has been for black Americans due to our welfare system. Out-of-wedlock births are not an alternative lifestyle; it is a degenerate life style. The out-of-wedlock birthrate for America from 1916 to 1920 was 2.2% which was lower than the out-of-wedlock birthrates for every nation in Europe for those years. I do not know whether or not the 2.2% figure included black Americans or was a figure for white Americans only. Today, Japan has and out-of-wedlock birthrate of 1%, the lowest in the industrialized world. In 1900, the out-of-wedlock birthrate in Japan was 8.8%, almost the same as it was for black Americans in that year. The best thing which could happen for both native Americans and black Americans would be for them to reduce their out-of-wedlock birthrates to more normal levels. Thank you.
