Straight Pride Group Undaunted After Counter-Protesters Out Numbered Them at Rally

FoxNews reports:

The organizer of a “Straight Pride” rally held in Modesto, Calif., on Saturday August 25th, said his group remained committed to its cause even though it was outnumbered by counter-protesters.

“That does not change the truth of our message,” Don Grundmann, 67, founder of the National Straight Pride Coalition, told the Modesto Bee.

He then took at jab at those who turned out against him and the group of about 20 people who claim they support society’s traditional gender roles.

“They talk about diversity and attack us,” Grundmann said of his critics. “So-called diversity and tolerance is a one-way street.”

USS Liberty Veterans Banned Forever From American Legion Nat’l Convention

Last Wednesday at noon at Arlington National Cemetery I attended the annual commemorative gathering of the survivors and friends of the U.S.S. Liberty. The moving service included the ringing of a ship’s bell for each one of the thirty-four American sailors, Marines and civilians that were killed in the deliberate Israeli attack that sought to sink the intelligence gathering ship and kill all its crew. Present were a number of surviving crewmembers as well as veterans like myself and other Americans who are committed to ensuring that the story of the Liberty will not die in hopes that someday the United States government will have the courage to acknowledge what actually happened on that fateful day.

It was the forty-ninth anniversary of the attack. In truth the attack on the U.S.S. Liberty by Israeli warplanes and torpedo boats on June 8, 1967, has almost faded from memory, with a younger generation completely unaware that a United States naval vessel was once deliberately attacked and nearly sunk by America’s “greatest friend and ally” Israel. The attack was followed by a cover-up that demonstrated clearly that at least one president of the United States even back nearly fifty years ago valued his relationship with the state of Israel above his loyalty to his own country.

It was in truth the worst attack ever carried out on a U.S. Naval vessel in peace time. In addition to the death toll, 171 more of the crew were wounded in the two-hour assault, which was clearly intended to destroy the intelligence gathering vessel operating in international waters collecting information on the ongoing Six Day War between Israel and its Arab neighbors. The Israelis, whose planes had their Star of David markings covered up so Egypt could be blamed, attacked the ship repeatedly from the air and with gunboats from the sea.

The incredible courage and determination of the surviving crew was the only thing that kept the Liberty from sinking. The ship’s commanding officer Captain William McGonagle was awarded a Congressional Medal of Honor for his heroic role in keeping the ship afloat, though President Lyndon Baines Johnson broke with tradition and refused to hold the medal ceremony in the White House, also declining to award it personally, delegating that task to the Secretary of the Navy in a closed to the public presentation made at the Washington Navy Yard. The additional medals given to other crew members in the aftermath of the attack made the U.S.S. Liberty the most decorated ship based on a single engagement with hostile forces in the history of the United States Navy.

The cover-up of the attack began immediately. The Liberty crew was sworn to secrecy over the incident, as were the Naval dockyard workers in Malta and even the men of the U.S.S. Davis, which had assisted the badly damaged Liberty to port. A hastily convened and conducted court of inquiry headed by Admiral John McCain acted under orders from Washington to declare the attack a case of mistaken identity. The inquiry’s senior legal counsel Captain Ward Boston, who subsequently declared the attack to be a “deliberate effort to sink an American ship and murder its entire crew,” also described how “President Lyndon Johnson and Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara ordered him to conclude that the attack was a case of ‘mistaken identity’ despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.” The court’s findings were rewritten and sections relating to Israeli war crimes, to include the machine gunning of life rafts, were excised. Following in his father’s footsteps, Senator John McCain of Arizona has used his position on the Senate Armed Services Committee to effectively block any reconvening of a board of inquiry to reexamine the evidence. Most of the documents relating to the Liberty incident have never been released to the public in spite of the 49 years that have passed since the attack took place.

The faux court of inquiry and the medals awarded in secret were only the first steps in the cover-up, which has persisted to this day, orchestrated by politicians and a media that seem to place Israel’s interests ahead of those of the United States. Liberty survivors have been finding it difficult even to make their case in public. In early April a billboard that read “Help the USS Liberty Survivors – Attacked by Israel” was taken down in New Bedford Massachusetts. The billboard had been placed by the Honor Liberty Vets Organization and, as is normal practice, was paid for through a contractual arrangement that would require the billboard company to post the image for a fixed length of time. It was one of a number of billboards placed in different states. Inevitably, Israel’s well connected friends began to complain. One Jewish businessman threatened to take his business elsewhere, so the advertising company obligingly removed the billboard two weeks early.

After forty-nine years, the dwindling number of survivors of the Liberty are not looking for punishment or revenge. When asked, they will tell you that they only ask for accountability, that an impartial inquiry into the attack be convened and that the true story of what took place finally be revealed to the public.

That Congress is deaf to the pleas of the Liberty crew should surprise no one as the nation’s legislative body has been for years, as Pat Buchanan once put it, “Israeli occupied territory.” The Lobby’s ability to force Congress and even the presidency to submit to its will has been spelled out in some detail by critics, first by Paul Findley in They Dare to Speak Out, later by John Mearsheimer and Stephen Walt in The Israel Lobby, in Alison Weir’s Against Our Better Judgment, and most recently in Kirk Beattie’s excellent Congress and the Shaping of the Middle East.

Congressional willingness to protect Israel even when it is killing Americans is remarkable, but it is symptom of the legislative body’s willingness to go to bat for Israel reflexively, even when it is damaging to U.S. interests and to the rights that American citizens are supposed to enjoy. I note particularly legislation currently working its way through Congress that will make it illegal for any federal funding to go to any entity that supports the Boycott, Divest and Sanction movement, better known as BDS. BDS is a way to put pressure on the Israeli government over its human rights abuses that is both non-violent and potentially effective. As the federal government has its hooks all over the economy and at various levels in education as well as state and local government its threat to force the delegitimization of BDS is far from an empty one.

Existing laws in more than twenty states with more on the way, including most recently New York, punishing entities that support the peaceful BDS movement by labeling BDS as anti-Semitic and making it illegal or sanctionable to support it are direct attacks on free speech. New York Governor Andrew Cuomo stated “We want Israel to know we are on its side.” And it doesn’t stop with BDS. Recently signed trade agreements with Europe were drafted to be conditional on European acceptance of Israel’s occupation of the Palestinian West Bank while Israel is also pushing to censor the internet to make material that constitutes “incitement” banned. Incitement would, of course, include anything critical of Israel or its government on the grounds that it is anti-Semitic.

Democratic candidate presumptive Hillary Clinton has explicitly promised to do all in her power to oppose BDS, telling an adoring American Israel Public Affairs Committee audience in March that “Many of the young people here today are on the front lines of the battle to oppose the alarming boycott, divestment and sanctions movement known as BDS. Particularly at a time when anti-Semitism is on the rise across the world, especially in Europe, we must repudiate all efforts to malign, isolate and undermine Israel and the Jewish people. I’ve been sounding the alarm for a while now. As I wrote last year in a letter to the heads of major American Jewish organizations, we have to be united in fighting back against BDS.”

So the treatment of the U.S.S. Liberty should surprise no one in a country whose governing class has been for decades doing the bidding of the powerful lobby of a tiny client state that has been nothing but trouble and expense for the United States of America. Will it ever end? As the Israel Lobby currently controls the relevant parts of the federal government and much of the media change is not likely to happen overnight, but there are some positive signs. If the Democratic Party platform committee under the influence of Bernie Sanders is successful in toning down the usual extravagant praise of Israel – against the wishes of Hillary, one might add – that would be a sign that change is difficult but not necessarily impossible. If Donald Trump wins and holds to his promise to be neutral between Israel and Palestine in negotiations that too would be a marked shift in perception of the conflict. And if the American people finally wake up and realize that they are tired of the entire farce and decide to wash their hands of the Middle East that would change everything. Just imagine picking up the morning newspaper and not reading a front page story about the warnings and threats coming from that great world leader Benjamin Netanyahu. That would be quite remarkable.

Michigan Council Candidate Wants to Keep Marysville ‘White’

Candidate Jean Cramer told a town hall that she would campaign to keep foreign-born residents from making Marysville, Michigan, their home.

A city council candidate in Michigan told an audience that she wanted to keep her city “a white community”.

Jean Cramer shocked constituents and politicians in Marysville, Michigan when she gave an overtly racist answer to a question about how the town should attract more foreign-born residents in the Great Lakes area.

“Keep Marysville a white community as much as possible,” she said.

Later, when a local newspaper asked if she’d like to clarify her answer, Ms Cramer appeared to double down on her beliefs.

“Husband and wife need to be the same race. Same thing with kids,” she said. “That’s how it’s been from the beginning of, how can I say, when God created the heaven and the earth. He created Adam and Eve at the same time. But as far as me being against blacks, no I’m not.”

Marysville is a small town near Detroit with a population of 9,700, over 90 per cent of which is white. But the city council meeting room in which Ms Cramer made the racist statement was named for a Syrian native, Joseph Johns, who owned a local business and eventually became an elected official.

A Study in Simple Semantics: Meaning of “Racist” and “Racism”

LIKE ANTI-SEMITE (OR ANTISEMITE), THE WORD RACIST IS increasing in politically-charged usage. This bodes ill for maintaining our shrinking “European-white majority societies” that are now sprinkled lightly around the world. The following are some thoughts I had concerning what to understand and how to engage when you are so labeled.

Is there a difference between Racialism and Racism? – both are “beliefs” according to Wikipedia.

Racialism is the belief that the human species is naturally divided into races, that are ostensibly distinct biological categories.

Racism is the belief in the superiority of one race over another.

There is no explanation for why the distinction between the two words. Most dictionaries define the two terms as synonymous.

Merriam Webster defines racism as a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities. Thus a racist would be a person who believes that race is the primary determinant of human traits. [In other words, innocent of superior-inferior connotations.]

However, a third meaning states that racism is “racial prejudice or discrimination.” Third meanings often convey the slang or popular current usage, irregardless of the historic, more traditional meaning. Some online dictionaries use that third meaning for their first meaning, which is why I chose to use M-W.

Merriam Webster writes that racism is a word of recent origin, not used before the 20th century. They go on to say that “Dictionaries are often treated as the final arbiter in arguments over a word’s meaning, but they are not always well suited for settling disputes.” This is because they explain how words are (or have been) actually used, not how some may feel that they should be used.

In 1903, W. E. B. Du Bois, a black civil rights activist and Pan-Africanist, said that racialism is the philosophical position that races existed, and that collective differences existed among races This is no doubt where the distinction between racialism and racism at Wikipedia came from. British-Ghanaian philosopher Kwame Anthony Appiah summarized Du Bois’s philosophical stance by writing that racialism is a value-neutral term and racism is a value-charged term.

Meaning of -ist

Let’s now look at the meaning of the suffix -ist. It denotes a person who practices or is concerned with something, or holds certain principles, doctrines, etc. Examples: apologist; dramatist; machinist; novelist; realist; socialist. Notice in all these cases, the person is a believer in, or a maker or user of that represented by the root word. A writer of dramas or novels; a maker of machines or apologies; a believer in realism or socialism. Thus a racist would be a believer in race or in race differences. That’s all one can make out of it from the word itself.

Answers.com says that ist stands for “one who does.” This brings up the question of whether racist can be a proper word at all. Is it a naturally occurring word or an invented, created-for-a-purpose word? The ist in the words biologist or chemist wouldn’t be considered as a suffix. If we take away ist from biologist, it would be biolog. That’s not a word. Same with chemist. Technically, ist means what a person is. For example, if I were a biologist, I would study or practice biology. Similarly, rac is not a word. Adding ist (racist) means a person who studies race – or a person who practices race science or just believes in race. I believe in race and race-based differences, so I’m willing to be called a racist based on that definition.

Coined by the left

It does seem that racist is a coined word for the 21st century. Previously there was no purpose for the word so it didn’t exist, even though feelings about race differences were greater and more pronounced in the past than now. But they were also accepted as natural and socially acceptable. Now it’s politically purposeful to blame and shame with what may yet become the “word of the century.”

Here’s a recent example of it’s use in the current environment. Democrat presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg is a homosexual trying to win over more black voters, who generally disapprove of homosexuality. Thus he is calling President Trump a ‘racist’ who is ‘dividing America,’ without any real evidence or defining the term. Most of the other Democrat candidates are doing the same.

But I don’t think we have to accept it. We can remind our accusers of the true meaning of the word, it’s actual content, whenever it’s used against us. We can tell them they have to be more specific about what we have actually done or said, before they resort to labeling us in such a generalized way with a word of such questionable meaning. Every “crime” needs to be proved.

It’s also important that we assert our authority over our language because it’s what we use to communicate ideas. It’s not a matter of going around proclaiming ourselves as racists, but defining the word properly when it’s used against us. We can also reject the popular notion that race difference is only skin color, or that if we acknowledge differences we are making value judgments. Differences found among racial groups can be observed by everyone and are backed by scientific studies that follow accepted protocols.

Race is a reality; racial differences are a part of that reality. We have every right, even duty, to acknowledge the real world. We deny that right to ourselves if we accept meanings for words in our common language that distort our common reality. It’s shameful that our politicians do this! It’s called Political Correctness, a tool used to take away your and my freedom, to emotionally enslave us.

So it’s really important; it’s not a small thing we can overlook. Therefore take a stand. Refuse to accept the words “racism” and “racist” unless they’re used properly. State why. And by all means, don’t use these words against your perceived enemies either, thinking you are somehow turning the tables on them. By doing so you are acknowledging the sentiment held within them, which then can be used against you. Better to find other words with which to express yourself.

Don’t be a dope. Protect our language by insisting those who speak to you use precise language, or reject what they’re saying if they don’t.

Are Demonstrations Meaningless? No!

OPINION. In this article – originally written in the run-up to the Nordic Resistance Movement’s “Revolt against the Traitors” demonstration in Gothenburg on 30 September 2017 – Martin Saxlind addresses those who are sceptical towards demonstrations.

Some do not understand why demonstrations are relevant. Demonstrating can be perceived as old fashioned and ineffective – these days we should be reaching out with our message on the internet instead, some say.

Going out on the streets entails certain risks, and arranging a demonstration demands resources. It takes an enormous number of man hours to plan and market a demonstration, and it costs a lot of money to procure the proper equipment (flags, shields, communication devices, functional clothes etc.) as well as transporting people to and from the event.

Many of those who are skeptical towards demonstrations are intelligent types, and it doesn’t help to lecture them about the importance of courage and street fighting. The intellectuals just respond that “metapolitics” is the only meaningful form of political activism, and look down on more activist-minded people.

I myself think it can be a little intellectually shallow when people are content to say that demonstrations are important because they allow us to “stand up for our views” or “take the fight to the left-wing extremists”. When you argue on that level, you assume your opponent in the discussion understands what you mean and agrees that it is of importance, which isn’t always the case. Thus I would like to provide a little more depth to the argumentation and explain the fundamentals of why demonstrations are important.

Theory Versus Reality

The problem with those who think demonstrations are meaningless is that they have a theoretical outlook that doesn’t hold up under closer examination. If people really were completely rational beings, it would be sufficient to present convincing arguments and facts on the internet to win over all our countrymen to our cause, but clearly it isn’t that simple.

The truth is on our side, but people are not “rational individuals” who automatically seek the truth. Man is essentially a herd animal, and we Nords especially have a problem with excessive conformity when we are scared of being excluded from society.

Social experiments also prove that many people consciously lie to fit into a group, even when it comes to totally meaningless and uncontroversial matters. This is why the election-meddling media are so obsessed with opinion polls – because by reporting which politicians and parties are popular or unpopular, they exert a “groupthink” that influences the individual reader and how he will vote.

But figures are still abstract and “unnatural” and therefore do not have such a strong impact in and of themselves. This means the human mind does not visualise all the people who liked an anti-immigration post on Facebook, or the hundreds of thousands of people who voted for the Sweden Democrats. It’s different with demonstrations – they speak to us in another way.

Demonstrations humanize an ideology by putting faces to its supporters. Demonstrations are also manifestations of strength.

In precisely the same way that many people feel uneasy when they walk past an immigrant gang, our opponents feel discomfort when they see our demonstrations. This isn’t because they are scared of being subjected to violence, as journalists and left-wing extremists lie about in order to mobilise violent counter-demonstrators against us. The uneasiness is actually due to the fact that our views, our engagement and our conviction – conveyed via a powerful demonstration – are very tangible and difficult to suppress or dismiss. This shows that the psychological impact of demonstrations is much stronger than other forms of propaganda.

For the participants, a demonstration is also often an emotionally powerful experience that is difficult to attain via other forms of political activism. And emotions are necessary to keep fighting spirit and motivation high. A feeling of community and strength is needed as a counterbalance to all the defeatism our enemies attempt to infect us with.

Demonstrations are also an activity everyone can participate in, whereas not everyone can pursue more intellectual matters, as they either do not have time or lack the capacity for them. As such, demonstrations are a way to ensure the nationalist movement doesn’t become a closed intellectual club, but rather a true popular movement where all are welcome and can become active.

There is a difference between observing politics from a distance and sympathizing with others’ struggle on the one hand, and living politics and being a part of the struggle yourself on the other. A person who openly takes part in demonstrations forms a stronger bond with his views and will generally fight more fanatically for victory than a person who is not as open about his views.

Unfortunately the Left understand all this better than nationalists sitting on the internet. The extreme Left also act rationally and purposefully from this understanding when they decide to focus on harassing “organised fascists” and making them leave the movement. Not even the civic nationalist Folkets demonstration (The People’s Demonstration), which had a completely inane political message, was left in peace by the Left – because politically incorrect gatherings are a threat to the Cultural Marxist hegemony.

By counter-demonstrating and creating chaos, the Left want to scare people away from participating in our demonstrations and give the public the impression that our views are controversial and problematic. With this in mind, some battles that can’t be won should perhaps be avoided. For example, Pegida and the Swedish Defence League previously held some embarrassing attempts at demonstrations and public meetings that were poorly attended and thus made them appear like oppressed victims of bullying, which is not a good image to have. But as long as you can get a respectable number of demonstrators on the streets and guarantee their safety, it doesn’t matter if the counter-demonstrators have higher numbers.

If an organisation is not publicly visible, it won’t occupy a place in the consciousness of the populace and will not be able to influence people’s opinions. That’s why the Left don’t just want us off (((Facebook))) and other big social media sites, but also off the streets. If demonstrations really were meaningless, then left-wing extremists and liberal journalists would not react with such hysteria and hate every time we arrange one.

All methods are needed

There is no fundamental conflict between street activism and internet activism or other intellectual activities. Both aspects are needed and work in unison with each other: Effective opinion-shaping on the internet mobilises more people to come to our demonstrations, while successful demonstrations create an increased interest in our ideas and strengthen the conviction of those who attend them, as well as that of more passive supporters.

This is not a complicated conclusion to draw, and in reality many of those who are opposed to demonstrations are likely so because of their own cowardice or laziness. Of course one cannot demand that all sympathisers turn up to a demonstration, and there are other ways to contribute to the struggle, so I’m not condemning everyone who doesn’t participate. However, one can at least ask that those who don’t want to take part in demonstrations do not attempt to rationalise their own laziness by questioning their necessity in general.

Laughable ADL Report Meant To Alarm Readers And Smear White Americans

In a report released by the Anti-Defamation League, so-called “White supremacists” have committed at least 73 murders since the far-right rally on August 12 two summers ago in Charlottesville, Virginia. It states that 39 of the killings were “clearly motivated by hateful, racist ideology.”

Compare this alleged statistic with the cities of Chicago or Baltimore:

So far this year there have been 309 homicides. (More than half of Baltimore’s 309 homicide victims in 2018 were shot in the head, according to the police department’s annual homicide analysis released Wednesday.)

For the entire year of 2018 there were 573 homicides.
For the entire year of 2017 there were 675 homicides.
A total of 1557 homicides.

On Friday, Baltimore celebrated its latest planned “Ceasefire Weekend” as part of the citywide “Safe Streets” initiative. On Sunday, Charm City ended the weekend by registering the 200th homicide this year.

It is on a path to top 2018 death toll of 309.
For the entire year of 2017 there were 342 victims.
A total of 851 homicides.

There can be only one reason for focusing on the “White supremacists” in ADL’s yellow journalism. The ADL is racist and Europhobic.

Joe Biden Pledges Huge Immigration Increase

Democratic hopeful Joe Biden promises Iowa voters that if he’s elected there will be a flood of immigrants into the U.S. because Biden cares more about non-Americans.

“Former Vice President and leading 2020 Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden is vowing to greatly increase the number of legal immigrants admitted to the United States every year.

In a speech to the Asian and Latino Coalition PAC, Biden promised to increase the level of legal immigration to the country beyond the roughly 1.2 million legal immigrants that are admitted every year, booming the foreign-born population to an unprecedented 45 million — a 108-year record high.

Specifically, Biden said the U.S. can “in a heartbeat” import another two million immigrants today.

Biden said:

We could afford to take in a heartbeat another two million people. The idea that a country of 330 million people is cannot absorb people who are in desperate need … is absolutely bizarre … I would also move to increase the total number of immigrants able to come to the United States. [Emphasis added]
Biden doesn’t mention who will pay for this flood of immigration. What about jobs? Jobs! Not mobs!

In addition to an increase in legal immigration levels, Biden said his national immigration plan would ensure that all 11 to 22 million illegal aliens living across the U.S. receive amnesty and a pathway to American citizenship.

Likewise, Biden said it is “immigration” that has “built this country,” reiterating the claim that the U.S. is a “nation of immigrants,” calling it “a fact.”

Biden’s comments come after the latest Harvard/Harris Poll finds that swing voters by a majority, as well as nearly every other demographic group, say they are less likely to support a 2020 presidential candidate who wants more illegal and legal immigration to the U.S.

Currently, the nation’s Washington, DC-imposed mass legal and illegal immigration policy — whereby at least 1.5 million unskilled foreign nationals are admitted to the U.S. every year — is a boon to corporate executives, Wall Street, big business, and multinational corporations, as America’s working and middle class have their wealth redistributed to the country’s top earners through wage stagnation.

Research by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine has discovered that immigration to the country shifts about $500 billion in wages away from working and middle-class Americans toward new arrivals and economic elites. Similarly, research by Steven Camarotta has found that every one percent increase in the immigrant composition of an occupation’s labor force reduces Americans’ hourly wages by 0.4 percent. Every one percent increase in the immigrant workforce reduces Americans’ overall wages by 0.8 percent.

In the last decade alone, the U.S. has admitted ten million legal immigrants, forcing American workers to compete against a growing population of low-wage foreign workers. Meanwhile, if legal immigration continues, there will be 69 million foreign-born residents living in the U.S. by 2060 and a total population of more than 404 million residents.”

Dayton, Ohio Shooter, Connor Betts, May Be Antifa’s First Mass Killer

Connor Betts didn’t leave a Manifesto as did El Paso shooter Patrick Crusius however his extensive social-media footprint provides clues as to what may have inspired him. Federal investigators announced Tuesday that they are looking into his exploration of violent ideologies.

While the attacks are similar, the response from liberals and leftists has been anything but.

Democratic presidential candidates Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris and Bernie Sanders succinctly condemned white nationalism — the ideology espoused by the El Paso shooter in his purported 2,300-word manifesto.

However, when it comes to condemning the Dayton shooter’s militant far-left views, all remain mum. -NYPost.com Aug 6, 2019…

…Betts had long expressed support for antifa accounts, causes and individuals. That would be the loose network of militant leftist activists who physically attack anyone to the right of Mao in the name of “anti-fascism.” In particular, Betts promoted extreme hatred of American border enforcement…

The NY Daily News states that Connor Betts was in a “pornogrind” band that performed songs about subjects like sexual violence and necrophilia.

Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society Demands U.S. Take in “Refugees”— But not in Israel

The Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society–the Jewish organization targeted by the Pittsburgh synagogue shooter Robert Bowers on account of its pro-Third World invasion activity–has launched a petition signed by over 1,400 rabbis demanding that the US take in all fake asylum seekers from Latin America—while continuing to support Israel, which refuses to take in any “refugees” at all.

As reported by the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, the HIAS petition has been signed by “more than 1,400 Jewish clergy from across the United States” which calls on government officials “to protect the legal right to seek asylum in the United States.”

HIAS, which describes itself as an “immigrant advocacy and aid group,” calls on elected officials to “act immediately to provide a just and humane asylum process for those seeking safety in our country, wherever they come from and however they arrive.”

A delegation of rabbis, attorneys and advocates for asylum seekers delivered the petition last week to congressional representatives on Capitol Hill.

“Our tradition teaches that each and every person deserves to be treated justly and with compassion,” it says. “However, under current U.S. policy and practice, asylum seekers instead face an ever-lengthening list of injustices including family separation, long periods of detention in jail-like facilities, and denial of due process in their legal proceedings. Simply put, our country is treating these individuals as criminals, even though seeking asylum is a legal right. This must change.”

It also says: “The Jewish people know what it means to be turned away and to be denied protection. As Jews we understand the heart of the refugee, and the current actions of our government echo some of the darkest moments of our own history.”

The petition goes on to state that the Jews are “committed to fighting hate and standing for our American and Jewish values of protecting the persecuted and welcoming the stranger, irrespective of nationality, race, or religion.

“We call on our elected officials to act immediately to provide a just and humane asylum process for those seeking safety in our country, wherever they come from and however they arrive.

“In Jewish tradition, there is no higher obligation than to save the life of another. As Jewish clergy, we will not stay silent as our country turns its back on individuals fleeing danger.”

This desire to flood America with Third World bogus “asylum seekers” stands in stark contrast to HIAS’s approach to Israel—the Jewish ethnostate—which refuses to take in any of these fake refugees.
